Courteously greet and entertain the patrons of The Terrace. Explain farm to table concept and knowledgably offer the fabulous cuisine, upscale signature cocktails and specialty wines while creating conversation and a warm, fun, intimate atmosphere for our restaurant and hotel guests. Obtain food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assist in the maintenance of the Restaurant area and equipment. Service any special events or banquets as assigned – always maintaining service philosophy of The Ellis Hotel. Maintain organization, cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment. Two years experience as cook in Hotel or Restaurant. Must have food handling certificate. Comprehend and follow recipes.
